Banks + PPI = Disaster

It seems that 3 months can’t go by without some more information about bank bad behaviour towards their customers coming to light.  Only recently Lloyds Bank was given a record fine of £117 Million for STILL not handling PPI Claims fairly.

This time round it’s still PPI that they just seem incapable of calculating fairly!  It’s come out that huge ‘secret commissions‘ were paid to 3rd parties to add PPI to their sales.

So – yet more is owed to the unsuspecting public – most of who still don’t think they had PPI, but most probably did on some distant car loan / credit card etc, without even knowing it was added, or that any secret commission was being paid.

Will it change?

Leopards don’t change their spots!  The banks are still scrambling to try and ‘time bar’ PPI claims (maybe as soon as 2018), so it would pay to have a quick brain dump of all financial products you’ve had / dredge the attic one weekend for any old documents which could literally be worth 10’s of thousands to you.
